Angel Ognemirov Endodontist

Angel Ognemirov qualified to MSc level in Endodontics at the University of Chester and trained in oral and intravenous dental sedation at Guy's Hospital, London. He holds a certificate in Restorative Dentistry and is a member of the Society for the Advancement of Anaesthesia in Dentistry (SAAD).

Much of his work is with people for whom dental treatment is a source of real anxiety. The response is practical rather than reassuring words: appointments that are never rushed, a clear explanation before each step, anaesthetic checked before anything begins and the freedom to pause. Patients who have avoided the dentist for years are treated without judgement.

Clinically, the emphasis is on getting the diagnosis right and giving every tooth a realistic chance: magnification for each root canal, modern technique as standard and a frank written opinion on what the tooth can be expected to do. Patients come from Rugby and across Warwickshire, by referral or directly.

A practice for one kind of problem

The practice treats the inside of the tooth and nothing else: root canal treatment and retreatment, microsurgery at the root tip, cracked and injured teeth and the diagnosis of tooth pain. Concentrating on a single field means the equipment, the time set aside for each appointment and the daily experience all serve the same purpose — keeping natural teeth that would otherwise be lost.

How we work

Every patient begins with a consultation. We listen to how the problem behaves, test the teeth rather than guess, and take the X-rays needed to confirm the diagnosis. You see what we see, on the screen, and leave with the diagnosis, the recommended treatment, the realistic outlook for the tooth and the fee in writing. Nothing is booked until you have decided.

Treatment is carried out under magnification, with local anaesthetic checked before we start and appointments long enough that nothing is hurried. If dental treatment makes you anxious, tell us: the visit is paced to suit you, each step is explained before it happens and you can pause at any point. Sedation can be discussed following assessment.

Fees

Fees are quoted in writing after the consultation and before any treatment. The figure covers the treatment described, including any dressing visit it requires; the final crown or filling is placed by your own dentist and charged by them. There are no surprises.

Working with your dentist

You remain a patient of your own dentist throughout. Referrals are welcome, and so are patients who contact us directly. After each visit your dentist receives a report with the X-rays and our recommendation for restoring the tooth, so that your care joins up.

Patients from Rugby and Warwickshire

Patients come from Rugby, Hillmorton, Bilton, Dunchurch, Long Lawford, Wolston, Lutterworth and across Warwickshire and south Leicestershire. To arrange a consultation, use the booking button or contact the practice — and if you are in pain, say so and you will be seen as a priority.

Next step

Keep the tooth. Start with a consultation.

A consultation gives you a confirmed diagnosis, a clear picture of whether the tooth can be saved and a written plan with the fee — before anything is decided. Get in touch to arrange one, or to ask about a tooth that is troubling you.
