Privacy policy

This website belongs to the endodontic practice trading as Endodontist Rugby. It explains what information we collect when you use the site or contact the practice, why we collect it and the rights you have over it.

Information you give us

When you telephone or write to the practice you may give us your name, contact details and information about your dental problem. We use it to answer your enquiry, arrange and carry out your care and keep your own dentist informed where you have asked us to. Clinical records are kept in accordance with the General Dental Council’s standards and NHS guidance on record retention.

Information collected automatically

Our hosting provider records standard server logs (IP address, browser type, pages requested and timestamps) for security and to keep the site running. If analytics are enabled, they are configured to collect aggregated, non-identifying data only. The website does not use advertising cookies.

Legal basis

We process your information to take steps at your request before and during your care (contract), to meet our legal and professional obligations and, for the operation of the website, on the basis of our legitimate interest in providing a secure service.

Sharing

Your information is shared only with those involved in your care — your referring dentist, a laboratory where relevant and, if you ask us to, an insurer — and with our IT and hosting providers under confidentiality agreements. We do not sell personal information.

Your rights

You may ask for a copy of the information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, and in some circumstances ask us to delete it or restrict how it is used. Contact the practice using the details on the contact page. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ico.org.uk).

This policy may be updated from time to time; the date of the latest change appears at the top of the page.
